The finest grit in the range: final wet sanding of lacquer before polishing, removing fine scratches and holograms.
P2000 sandpaper is a waterproof silicon carbide abrasive for the last stage of wet sanding before polishing: it levels marks from P1000–P1500 to a state that polishing compound removes completely. Works only with water.

P2000 or P1500 before polishing?
P1500 removes P1000 marks faster but needs more polishing; P2000 leaves a finer trace and saves compound. For fresh lacquer take P2000.
Does P2000 suit headlights?
Yes, after restoring headlights with P800–P1500, finish with P2000 wet, then polish with compound.
