Sandpaper P120
Medium grit for preparing surfaces for primer: wood, metal, filler. Rolls, sheets, hook & loop discs and mesh.
P120 sandpaper is the most universal medium grit: it removes marks from P60–P80, levels wood and filler and prepares the surface for primer or the first coat of paint. After P120 move to P180–P240 for finishing.
What it is for
- Sanding wood before priming
- Levelling filler on walls and cars
- Cleaning metal of rust and old paint before primer
- Preparing MDF and plywood for lacquer
Do not jump straight from P120 to P320: the intermediate step P180–P240 removes scratches that would otherwise show through the paint.
