These recommendations were compiled by the European Federation of Abrasive Manufacturers "FEPA" on the use of abrasive cutting and Grinding discs for metal and stone.

Make sure the abrasive wheel has the EN 12413 marking and the expiration date.
Do not use wheels without the EN 12413 marking.
Be sure to read the operating instructions.
Do not throw away the instructions and review them periodically.
Check the abrasive wheel for damage or unusual spots.
Do not use a damaged wheel.
The speed indicated on the machine must not exceed the speed indicated on the disc.
Do not use a blade with a speed lower than that specified on the machine.

Frequently asked questions
How do you check an abrasive disc before use?
Make sure the EN 12413 marking and the expiry date are present, and inspect the disc for damage or unusual marks. A damaged disc must not be used.
How do machine speed and disc speed relate?
The speed marked on the machine must not exceed the speed marked on the disc.
