Independent Cutting Disc Testing: NovoAbrasive Extreme Ceramic Shows Best Results

NovoAbrasive team conducted large-scale independent testing of cutting discs from leading global manufacturers

During a visit to the INTERNATIONAL HARDWARE FAIR ITALY in Milan, the NovoAbrasive team purchased all available cutting discs from various manufacturers to conduct independent comparative testing. The tests featured for the first time the new NovoAbrasive Extreme Ceramic discs with an updated formula based on ceramic grain.

Testing Conditions

All tests were conducted under identical conditions on an automatic steel cutting machine without human factor influence:

•Equipment: Automatic steel cutting machine, model: WE-TM-125mm, power: 1000W

•Disc size: 125×1.0×22.23 mm

•Cutting material: A500 steel (14 mm diameter rebar)

•Number of cuts: 30 cuts for each disc (except those that could not complete the full cycle)

•Evaluation criteria: Cutting coefficient calculated based on residual disc diameter
